This might sound like a general statement, but every business can benefit from using Twitter. It doesn’t matter if your company is big or small, popular or unpopular or specializes in products or services. Any company can derive great advantages with this internet marketing medium. One of the most common ways to do so is by simply posting multiple Tweets to your account that inform customers of the latest products or services that your company offers. The truth is there’s much more to how you can fully utilize Twitter for your business.

Aside from the obvious immediacy that you can utilize by giving frequent and real-time updates about products and services, Twitter also can be used to engage in conversation with your very own customers. Say someone Tweets about how much their joints hurt from their latest workout. This would be a great opportunity for a company that sells joint creams to join in the conversation.
